History of Rosie the rescued Rottweiler

                               

Calli-San Clinton and Alicia McCormick decided that they couldn’t leave Rosie alone and spent three months tirelessly trying to win her affection. Rosie lived alone for most of her life in Neraabup National Park (Western Australia). She had been seen living in the bush, but no one had taken the time to rescue her until Calli and Alica decided to help her.

"We spent hours watching and waiting for her to appear. We left a food on a towel for her to find, we called out to her when she appeared but she was so scary" says Calli. They left a food station and she started to come and eat everyday.

"Rosie began waiting for us when we called her, she start learning her name, we left treats on the towel and we moved closer everyday" says Calli. After living in the bush for most of her life Rosie started to become friendly and finally left the bush.

The history of Sky, the stolen Rottweiler

Mick Robinson is searching for his stolen Rottweiler, Sky.




Sky the Rottweiler was stolen last year, since then her owner Mick Robinson has launched a campaing 'Get Sky Home'. But he's been targeted by hoax callers who claimed to have her.

She's one of almost 800 dogs which have been stolen in Yorkshire since 2013, and campaingers say police need to do more to help dog's like her. Sky's owner says he won't stop his work until she's found and he will search "all day, every day" for his dog /bbc/.

Rottweiler.-They were originally called the “Rottweiler Metgerhund,” meaning “Rottweil butchers’ dog.” They are named after the town named Rottweil,southwestern Germany.From this town the dog breed gets its name.

German Shepherd.- has a fairly simple name and reflects it’s full heritage, the breed was named Deutscher Schäferhund by von Stephanitz, literally translating to 'German Shepherd Dog'. Boxer.- their name  is supposedly derived from the breed's tendency to play by standing on its hind legs and "boxing" with its front paws while playing.
