I would love to hear from anyone on best ways to treat either puppy vaginitis or puppy UTI. We have a 12 week old (and beautiful) AKC Rott puppy since she was 8 weeks old. She was diagnosed with UTI at8 1/2 weeks old and had one week of antibiotics. Soon as the antibiotics were done, UTI was back. We are giving her grain free food/snacks in addition to: D-Mannos, Cranberry UTI Dog med, Apple Cider Vinegar, Plain Nancy's Yogurt, Probiotics. Vet would like to do a bladder tap and a vulva pat. Breeder states UTI's with little girls getting their puppy shots is common and we are following her instructions. Any one else going/gone through this? How can we best help our girl. Despite the UTI, she will still run to the back door, ring the bells to go outside to potty (unfortunately- that is about every 10-15 minutes). Doing great in the crate also.
